A New Association

Founded in 2026, the Reality Intelligence Association (RIA) is an independent UK non-profit society, incorporated in England & Wales as a company limited by guarantee (no. 17164289), and devoted to the study of reality across design, architecture, computation, and material practice.

RIA convenes practitioners, scholars, and designers around a single question: what is real, and how is it perceived, inhabited, and constructed — both physically and virtually. Its guiding line is simple: in an age of intelligence, we study reality.

The association's initial programme centres on public exhibitions and a peer-reviewed journal, with an awards programme and an elected fellowship to follow as the society grows. RIA is run not for profit, for the benefit of its members and the wider field.

Registered in Covent Garden and operating between Oxford and London, RIA will announce its first public exhibition in the coming months.

In an age of intelligence, we study reality — the association's founding statement.
