Artist Statement

The team focuses on human habitation in complex and extreme environments, using architecture and design to connect environmental science, human factors, life-support systems, and intelligent construction. Its practice responds to real environmental and engineering constraints while examining how unfamiliar settings reshape bodily perception, daily rhythms, and cultural understanding. Through interdisciplinary research, systems design, and visual narrative, the team translates invisible celestial patterns, resource cycles, and biological needs into spatial and institutional prototypes that can be understood, experienced, and developed over time.

Work Statement

No Common Day is a speculative design proposing the first time system grounded in the Moon's own conditions. It combines a precision time core, a lunar sundial reinvented from the terrestrial sundial, and a body calendar organising sleep, work, and recovery. Solar altitude and shadow length are translated into twenty-four Lunar Light Phases. Presented through lunar landscape rendering, scientific diagrams, temporal mapping, and data visualisation, the work is designed as a 100 × 240 cm horizontal lightweight panel. It requires no power, network connection, or on-site interaction.

NO COMMON DAY was presented in Mind × Body: Catalyst Phenomenon Archive, organised by the Reality Intelligence Association as part of London Design Festival 2026.
